Will we overcome being afraid of the unknown like little children can?

We are not afraid of the unknown. That’s impossible. How can you be afraid of what you don’t know, haven’t seen, haven’t touched? You don’t even know if it exists, you don’t know anything about it! What’s to be afraid of?

We are afraid of the known. We’re afraid of that which we all know about ourselves, deep, deep in our subconscious, but refuse to look into it, refuse to accept it, refuse to get to know it.

That’s why you feel like children aren’t afraid of the unknown but you are. And yet you know that children don’t know anything that you don’t, it’s the opposite - you know a lot of stuff that they don’t. That is what you are afraid of. Children are innocent, so they live in the unknown, constantly.
