Ego is not created by God, it’s created by you. God, to the extent that it exists, is also created by you. In the ultimate reality there is no ego and no God, only you.

Neither ego nor God is an issue, other than for the simple fact that they’re not real. They’re a fantasy, fiction, an entertainment story. As long as you’re enjoying your story, there is no issue. But as long as you’re enjoying your story, you also will not awaken. When you can no longer enjoy the story of your ego, or God, you are ready to awaken, and the question of whether there’s an issue is self-evident. You know there’s an issue, you just don’t know what it is. You can call your issue “ego”, but it’s just a different word for the issue - it doesn’t really help to change words. You will not know what the ego is until you see it. Once it’s seen it cannot be unseen.
