True masters don’t preach to you how to live your life. They try to teach you to love yourself. There’s a tremendous difference.

It can be hard to listen to or be in the presence of a true master, because they uncover your lack of self-love. It’s not always hard, but it can be.

Every judgment of another is a masked self-judgment. Every self-judgment is a masked judgment of other people. It’s one and the same. In not allowing another their freedom, you are not allowing yourself your freedom. Loving yourself and loving another is one and only love.
