Have you attempted to discuss your spiritual awakening with non-spiritual friends?
Everyone tries to discuss this with non-spiritual friends, without exception. Those who say they never did are either lying or they are “discussing” it with their behavior and their eyes - issuing long, deep, “loving” stares, or smiling warmly yet somewhat condescendingly as if speaking to their child - this kind of behavior is pretty much the norm in the spiritual circles.
It only gets diminished when you work through most of your issues (personal childhood trauma), and you start to see people more or less clearly. By that point no one can create an emotional discomfort in you, you don’t get triggered or even emotionally reactive speaking to people at all. When you reach that point, it becomes quite clear who wants to listen to you and who doesn’t. You no longer pretend to be non-human, God incarnate, consciousness or awareness, and if your mother wants to see her son in you, you behave like her son, out of your love for her.
