Yes! Animals are absolutely free. Which is why, unless it comes to matter of their survival, they are absolutely harmless. No animal decides to hurt another animal because they disagree on morality. Or for revenge.

The violence human beings exhibit is the sign of their bondage, not of their yearning for freedom. Almost all violence is completely irrational. Irrational violence leads to more irrational violence, bondage leads to more bondage, and so the cycle continues.

All the bondage and all the freedom from it lie in the mind.
