What do you say to people who do not believe in spirituality?

I don’t say anything to people who do not believe in spirituality. It’s good. These are healthy people who don’t need to believe in something higher to soothe the pain of their existence. Unless, of course, they believe that their existence is, in fact, painful. This is the belief they need to drop, not acquire a new one called “spirituality”, and to those people I say that there’s such a thing as spirituality, and it offers a number of methods to separate reality from imagination, which has a side effect of relieving you of your suffering. Just don’t believe a single word of it, trust methods only, and also don’t forget to drop it when you’re done, and you’ll be fine.

To people who do believe in spirituality, especially those who say things like “I am an infinite stillness watching my imperfect personality” or “We are all one consciousness having different experiences” or “I embody divine feminine” I say that their spiritual beliefs is exactly what they are clinging to and, paradoxically, their spirituality stands in the way of their spirituality. Even though some of these people already on some level saw that the same can be said about ego (i.e. it also stands in its own way), they usually can’t see any similarity, think I’m ignorant and don’t listen to me.
