Yes. Illusion is, by definition, unsubstantiated belief. To dispel illusion, one must dispel the belief - then the illusion will disappear. Reality is that which does not disappear when you stop believing in it. So, in order to experience the ultimate reality free of illusion, one has to stop believing anything.

It’s only logical, but it’s easier said than done.
