No idea. Certainly not me, I swear (I was asked this question once). I read the guy myself hehehe. He’s not Adya either, I read somewhere that he was asked this question and he denied. That was actually pretty obvious to me, as they have very different literary styles.

The question is, why does it matter? The only thing that matters when it comes to spiritual enlightenment is whether someone’s words help you or not. Who this person is, his gender, height, weight and personality doesn’t matter. His personality is actually just a projection of your mind. Which is why enlightened people are often viewed as full of contradictions - you just can’t grasp his personality, it feels like he’s all slippery lol.

So don’t worry about who he is or even if he exists at all. He wrote some great books. If they stir something in you - read them! If you wanna try his method of achieving self-realization, try it.

The one thing that he really nails which few others do is that if you want authentic enlightenment, it must be the sole project of yours, above all else. You must become megalomaniacal about it. It’s the ultimate game, of the highest stakes. Nothing else even comes close.
