Hahaha, I tried it, people think being a Buddha means you’re a God or something and it makes you better than them. So, no, I do not recommend it, it’s not gonna go well, whether you’re a Buddha or a Buddha wannabe lol.

But I do plan to come one day to a Buddhist center (we have one in San Francisco), and announce that I am Samma Sambuddha and I would like to offer my teachings to the congregation. I can’t wait to see the look on their faces. They will probably kick me out and I’ll die laughing. I won’t go down without a fight - I will run around in circles screaming “but I’m a Buddha!” before they catch me. Make them really work for it lol. Maybe sneak in a couple of farts, too. Should be good for a day’s entertainment.

If they let me in, I’m planning to crap on Buddhism as much as I can, tell them to burn their scriptures and make fun of them dressing funny. It’s gonna be a blast.

If they invite me for the second time after that, they are true Buddhists and I’m gonna be impressed. Then shit will get serious.
