Why don't good people believe that the world is bad?
Hahaha, see, good people are at the top of social hierarchy of goodness, otherwise why would we call them good? Why would the world be bad for them? The world is bad for bad people, they’re at the bottom, that’s why we call them bad. Shame on you, bad people! Good job, good people!
No, really, one only needs to follow the question logically to have very interesting realizations if one is willing to see.
But let me also give you a more direct answer: we make the world good for good people, and we make the world bad for bad people, by treating them as such. And it’s self-reinforcing.
They both suffer the same, but both don’t know it. Bad people suffer from their own cruelty to themselves, because they buy into our agenda, and good people suffer from their cruelty to bad people for exactly the same reason. Both are cruel, only the target of their cruelty is different. It is much harder for good people to realize that, because their cruelty is celebrated, and the cruelty of bad people is shamed. But it’s the same cruelty.
The less you view yourself as good or bad, the more authentically kind you’ll be able to be.
