Movies that actually are about spiritual enlightenment but you won’t be able to understand that they are until it happens to you, which is not to say you won’t enjoy them:

Movies that actually are not about spiritual enlightenment, but they sure seem to be and everyone thinks they understand that they are about spiritual enlightenment. In other words, these movies are about how ego pictures spiritual enlightenment:

The Silent Warrior

The Matrix

Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring (or something like that, I don’t remember)

Into The Void

As for documentaries, I highly recommend “Samadhi”. It’s free and you can find it on YouTube. Allan Watts was also absolutely brilliant in his delivery. Listening to him might nudge you a bit further.
