The only reason people hate narcissists is because they remind them of their own narcissism. People see a caricature of themselves in narcissists.

Narcissists suffer more than an average person. The more narcissistic you are, the more you suffer. They do deserve help to see it, but they’re not willing to take it, just like everyone else.
