No. Hallucinations can happen in meditation, or in a sensory deprivation chamber, quite reliably in some people. Yogic techniques can induce hallucinations, too. Some breathing techniques, too, quite reliably. Dreaming is basically a hallucination, also.

Hallucinations are just a feature of the dreaming mind, they can be scary, blissful or fun. They can be disorienting, too. But they’re not something to be afraid of, they are always temporary, they always subside. They can be thought of as the contents of your unconscious psyche bubbling up to the level of consciousness.
