Human nature is neither good nor evil, but it’s unnatural. Human nature is basically the ability to come up with ideas of good and evil, and then pick a side and pretend that it has anything to do with reality. That is unnatural.

The nature is neither good nor evil. When a predator kills its prey, it’s neither good nor evil, it’s natural. But when one human kills another human, there’s nothing natural about it, monkeys don’t kill each other in the extreme abundance of food, which we humans have. It takes a wild imagination and belief to convince yourself of the rationality of such a horrendous act. In spirituality, this ability of the human mind to imagine something well beyond our raw nature of being harmless animals, is called “ego”.
