No. When you feel like you’ve lost your empathy, it’s nothing but a sign that you are trying to misdirect it. It means that the time has come to apply your empathy and compassion to yourself now, not to others, and you are resisting it, so you feel lost. Don’t try to love others now, turn that empathy towards yourself. Focus on yourself, love yourself, cry for yourself, take care of yourself.
