No. It is absolutely the most important thing you can go through, by the very definition of it. If it wasn’t, or it seems overrated, then it’s not enlightenment yet. There is absolutely nothing that can be compared to authentic enlightenment in all of the experience of life. Nothing can remotely come close. It cannot be overrated, it’s impossible to overrate it. It’s like asking if life is overrated or if death is overrated. There is nothing to compare it to.
