Personally, how do you measure the level of intelligence in a person?

Personally, I measure the level of intelligence by their ability to solve abstract, complex logical problems. That’s what intelligence is. It has nothing to do with wisdom, foolishness, how their life going emotionally, how successful they are, what kind of person they are and how they communicate with other people. That’s not what intelligence is about, it’s completely orthogonal to all this stuff. Dogs aren’t as intelligent as we are, but they’re lovely, and they understand life better than we do, much more wise. How can you not love them?

Intelligence is wonderful. When you misapply intelligence to solve non-existing problems, that’s trouble.
