What is your philosophy about childhood?
Childhood is sanity. Adulthood is insanity. The younger you were, the less confused you were. That’s why we all remember very early childhood fondly, and that’s why most people don’t really understand how come they’re not as happy as they were when they were four or five, and yet objectively much more free and powerful. We have more agency in adulthood, yes, but we lock ourselves into the cages of our minds and can’t get out. When you get out of the cage, you will remember what it was like to be a child again, and the tears will roll down your face.
