Can enlightened people argue with each other about enlightenment?
No. Authentically enlightened people have nothing to say to each other with regards to enlightenment. Not a single thing. It becomes strictly impossible, absurd.
Whenever you see two people arguing about enlightenment, at least one of them is not enlightened. Usually both.
Authentically enlightened people never speak about another’s enlightenment, it is not possible. They can only speak about another’s dreaming.
When two authentically enlightened people meet, the topic of enlightenment cannot arise. So it is not possible for them to recognize each other. The one who brings it up is always the one who is still dreaming, however subtly. Most of the time, not so subtly at all.
When you are dreaming, you think everyone is dreaming, so you like to talk about it with them. The more subtle your dreaming is, the fewer people will be able to relate. That’s why awakened people like talking to each other, and that’s why even people in deep states of non-duality seek out each other and enjoy each other’s company. When you are finally completely enlightened, you can relate to anyone, all people are the same to you, there’s nothing left to talk about, and unless the person in front of you starts speaking about their current dream, you have not the slightest idea of where they are, spiritually speaking. Most awakened people love talking about their updated version of the dream, so they’re easy to tell.
