Spiritual awakening is spiritual, enlightenment is not.

Spiritual awakening makes you spiritual, and this alone makes you quite special compared to other, non-spiritual people around you who don’t know what you’re talking about.

After enlightenment, there’s nothing spiritual about you, and you’re just like everybody else.

Spiritually awake people can recognize each other. Enlightened people can’t. To a spiritually awake person an enlightened person would appear exactly like a regular, “ignorant” person who knows nothing about spirituality.

Is it funny? You bet. But such is the cosmic joke.
