Is each of us a soul or do we have a soul?

Hahah, I don’t know - why are you asking me this question? Whatever it feels like right now is how you see yourself right now.

But what you can be absolutely sure of, is that however you see yourself right now is not true in the absolute sense, so if you’re asking this question, you need to go deeper into the inquiry of what you are.

Ultimately, you neither are a soul, nor do you have a soul. Both “soul” and that thing that can “have” it are imaginary entities in your mind. Go deeper into your own mind, try to find them, try to see them and realize you made it all up.

It’s impossible to see yourself. You can only see your own reflection. Have you ever seen yourself other than in a mirror? Whatever you’re seeing is not you, maybe a mirror, but not you. So you can be sure that if you’re seeing a soul, it’s not you, and if you’re seeing a separate “I” that “has” a soul, it’s not you either.
