Existence isn’t conscious, consciousness IS existence.

Similarly, the notion that “I live” or “I have a life” is an illusion also - it comes from an illusory concept of self. You don’t have a life - you ARE life. Life can’t have a life, life simply is.

And existence cannot have consciousness, existence simply is. Existence and consciousness are synonyms.

There are a lot of words in the language that all, strictly speaking, point to the same thing, and the amount of conceptual difference we think there is between them is but a reflection of our state of separation. These words are: existence, consciousness, god, universe, love, life, death, spirit, everything, nothing. The subtle semantic differences between these words disappear in enlightenment, at least that was my experience.
