How would you compare psychopathy to being enlightened, given their similarities?
High-functioning psychopathy is indeed very similar to enlightenment: Artem Boytsov’s answer to Can you be enlightened without knowing what enlightenment is?
Antisocial psychopathy is most likely the opposite - the extreme of suppressing one’s emotionality, building a wall around it. They are highly irrational in their behavior, whereas high-functioning psychopaths are highly rational.
They are bundled together simply because both don’t experience emotion, but it’s a mistake. A person in a separated state has a ton of suppressed emotion which he doesn’t allow himself to experience. An enlightened person has experienced it all, so he doesn’t anymore. From the outside, there’s no difference. On the inside, there’s a tremendous difference.
From the outside, a fully enlightened person looks like a completely ignorant person, and anti-social and high-functioning psychopaths also look the same. I don’t think they are, not at all.
