Is stealing considered to be morally right?

Of course! By the person who steals, that is, otherwise why would they do it. It’s not like they’re all “Oh, this is such a horrible thing to do, but someone has to do it - if not me, then who?”. And it’s almost always considered to be morally wrong by the person who is stolen from.

A much better question would be - what is wrong with our society if some people steal? If they are hungry, what’s wrong with us that we can’t feed them? If they’re poor and doing it to keep up with the rest of us, why do we keep them poor? If they’re jealous of others’ success, why do we keep telling them success is something to be jealous of?

We stuff their heads full of crazy ideas, deprive them of basic human decency, abuse them when they are kids, don’t give them help, physical or mental, when they need it, and then, in quite a sadistic twist, we point our fingers at them, say they are bad and immoral people and lock them up.

There are a lot of criminals that have no respect for, or all out hate society. What’s common between them is that it’s not that they started hating society after they became criminals. They became criminals because they hate society. I don’t blame them - how could you not hate such a monstrosity?

Humans are wonderful, but society is anything but. It’s time we stopped for a second and take a good look at what we built.

And it starts with each and every one of us.

If you’re pondering stealing - don’t steal. Unless it’s a matter of your survival, it’s just stupid. You’ll get in trouble. Don’t do it.

If someone stole from you - don’t hate them. Yes, report them, do what you need to do to recover your property, that’s your right, I’m not advocating being a saint. Just don’t hate them, don’t judge them, don’t moralize them. Do what you need to do and let them be on their way.
