Non-duality (the experience of oneness) is a beautiful stage on the path to enlightenment. Some people call the moment you jump into non-duality the moment of realization or self-realization. Some describe it as an experience of pure consciousness, or the ultimate witness.

It is an ongoing, blissful experience and it can last many years. It can feel trance-like. But this experience is also empty. In “final” stages of enlightenment, it is seen that there is no difference between duality and non-duality, and just like the suffering was illusory, non-duality, consciousness, witness, enlightenment, the path are all illusions also. One becomes very ordinary again.

Many things can be said about non-duality, but nothing can be said about enlightenment. Enlightenment is not even oneness, it’s beyond that.
