Is it possible for brain damage to cause constant out of body experience?

Certainly! It happened to Jill Bolte Taylor, the author of the book “My Stroke of Insight”, and it happened to Ram Dass late in his life as he found himself to be “loving awarnesss” after a stroke, too.

But if you find yourself having a constant out of body experience without any symptoms of a stroke (you wouldn’t miss it), or a serious concussion of some sorts, it’s not brain damage, no. It is probably what in spirituality is called self-realization, that is, finding your consciousness. It’s not dangerous, but can feel extremely disorienting. If that’s what happened to you, congratulations! Don’t be afraid. PM me if you’re confused.
