Do enlightened people lose the ability to experience sexual tension and attraction?

Yes, in a way. Sexual tension is impossible to experience, yes. Sexual attraction is not, but sexual attraction for most people is impossible to imagine without sexual tension, so it’s a different kind of attraction. It’s just calm knowledge that you find this person attractive.

Sex itself becomes emotionally uneventful, but physically much more pleasant. You basically exchange emotionality for physicality. This is much more fun because there’s not a slightest hint of pain in it. Passion is well-masked pain, so for most people, sex is somewhat tense, on some level, otherwise orgams wouldn’t be a release. Only tension can lead to a release. So tension disappears from sex and it becomes much more fun. Orgasms are much more pleasant physically, but they’re not a release nor do they lead to a post-coital bliss or relaxation. One is already relaxed all the time.
