Yes. I eat whatever the hell I want, there’s no restrictions in freedom, otherwise it’s not freedom. And I also freely call myself enlightened on Quora, to the dismay of many who only imagine they are, so it feels immodest to them. Calling yourself enlightened only makes sense in the context of helping struggling fellow beings, it makes absolutely no sense in other contexts. In other contexts, I’m just a regular dude.

There’s no such thing as spiritual authority. I have no authority over anybody. If you listen to my words, it’s only because you see truth in them. If that makes me an authority in your eyes, it’s only until you open them. When I am no longer seen as any kind of authority by you, you have done your work and you’re free.
